Women's Counselling Services
Women’s counselling in Red Deer offers support for women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, loss, and life transitions.

Why Women's Therapy?
Women often carry a great deal — emotionally, relationally, and mentally — while navigating changing roles, expectations, and responsibilities. Many women seek counselling during seasons of transition, overwhelm, loss, or disconnection, even when things may look “fine” on the outside. Women’s counselling offers a supportive space to slow down, feel understood, and explore what you’re carrying with care and compassion.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. This space is for women who are feeling stretched, uncertain, or simply wanting support that honours their experience.
Common Themes Women Bring to Counselling
Women come to counselling for many reasons. Some common themes include:
-
feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or burnt out
-
identity shifts related to pregnancy, parenting, or life transitions
-
anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from yourself
-
grief or loss, including experiences that feel difficult to name
-
relationship strain or changes in connection
-
wanting to feel more grounded, supported, or understood
These experiences are common and deserving of care.

Trying to conceive, being pregnant, or experiencing pregnancy loss can bring up complex emotions that are often carried quietly. This support includes counselling for infertility, pregnancy-related anxiety, pregnancy after loss, and miscarriage or pregnancy loss, offering a compassionate space to process emotions and feel supported through each stage of the reproductive experience.
The postpartum period can bring emotional, physical, and identity changes that feel overwhelming or unexpected. Counselling provides a supportive space to navigate anxiety, low mood, exhaustion, and the emotional adjustment that comes with caring for a new baby, while helping you feel less alone during this season.

Parenting can place significant emotional strain on individuals and families, especially when stress, burnout, or disconnection begin to build. Parenting support counselling focuses on strengthening emotional connection, supporting regulation, and helping parents feel more grounded and confident in their role.
How I Work With Women
My approach to women’s counselling is grounded in emotional safety, compassion, and respect for each person’s experience. I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels supportive, with a focus on helping women feel seen, understood, and supported — not fixed or judged. Counselling can be a space to not only navigate difficult seasons, but also to strengthen connection, clarity, and a sense of thriving.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need in order to begin. If you’re considering women’s counselling and would like support during this season of your life, you’re welcome to reach out or book a session when you feel ready.
